1. Book Hedgehogs

Fold the pages of a recycled book to create your very own hedgehog friend. These adorable literary buddies will make the perfect addition to any desk or bookshelf! Recycled book and instructions included in take and make kit. 7/23

2. Understanding Dyslexia: Tools for Parents & Activities for Kids

Registration required (through Broomfield Early Childhood Council). Parents will attend an information session with L2 Literacy & Learning to find out ways to prepare kids for reading, language based learning disabilities, signs and early identification of dyslexia, testing, and how to navigate the IEP process and special education at school. 7/24

3. Nothing but 90's Band-  Coal Creek Park

You’ve been waiting for them and they’re coming! This 5-piece Denver 90’s cover band nails your favorite 90’s hits with a level of consistency you can set your Baby-G to both instrumentally and vocally. 7/24

4. 🏰 44th Colorado Renaissance Festival ~ Weekends through August 22 (All Ages)

Eat, drink, and be merry at the Colorado Renaissance Festival! You'll find comedy, music, dancing, circus performers, wild animals, jousting knights on horseback, and much more. This weekend is Children's Weekend (Children 12 and under are free with a paying adult.) 7/24-7/25

5. Angry Birds Catapult Challenge

School-aged children and their grown-ups are invited to team up with the Angry Birds to take down those rotten green pigs using SCIENCE! Build your own catapult, test its capabilities, and launch it at swine-filled towers. Registration required; Grades K-5. 7/27

6. The Disappearing “Tales” of Toads

Hop to it and discover fun facts and frolics of toads—warts and all! Find out more about toads in Boulder County, and participate in some fun activities and explorations. Presented in partnership with the Louisville Public Library. For ages 5-10 with an accompanying adult. 7/28
