If you're looking for some wet & wild fun, look no further! We've teamed up with Aspen Ridge Preparatory School in Erie and rounded up all the pools, water parks, and splash pads in the area just for you. Check out more on Aspen Ridge Prep at the bottom of the guide.
Most of these venues will remain open daily until mid-August when students go back to school. From mid-August through Labor Day, many pools keep regular hours on weekends only. Click on each name to visit their website for more details.

Broomfield's outdoor water park, designed for children ages 1 to 13 years old, features a large pool, tot pool, body slide, tube slides, spray ground, picnic areas, and is ADA accessible.

This outdoor pool will be open on May 26th. It was built in 1972 and is a 25 meter 6 lane pool, with two slides and a child’s splash pool. With the re-opening there is now a new kids area, deck space, and bathhouse.

Formerly LaMont Does pool, this outdoor facility just received a full overhaul that brings the feel of a mountain ski lodge right to our backyard. There are water slides, a lazy river, vortex, a zero-depth entry leisure pool, cabanas and more!

The Town of Superior has two outdoor pools, North Pool and South Pool. The North Pool facility is located at 1650 South Indiana Street and features a heated leisure pool and heated children’s wading pool. The South Pool facility is located at 3300 Huron Peak Avenue and features a heated leisure pool with a slide and mushroom fountain and a heated children’s wading pool.
Both facilities offer a designated lane for lap swimming. The North Pool lap lane is 25 meters long and the South Pool lap lane is 25 yards long.

This Denver legend has been named once again one of USA Today's Top 10 Water Parks in the nation. Water World has 39 attractions on 64 acres, making it one of the largest water parks in America.

Located within The Bay Aquatic Park (so admission is required), your little ones will love running around and splashing in fountains of various sizes, including a circular splash area that is perfect for running through!

This free splash pad at Community Park is a great way to cool off on a hot summer day! While you're there, you can also enjoy the playground or watch dogs have a hay-day in the designated dog play area also at the park.

Grab some ice cream at Eats & Sweets and head next door to the fountains for a perfect summer afternoon!

Located within The Great Outdoors Water Park (so admission is required). There is a 'Grand Eagle Dump Bucket' that playfully spills water every few minutes perching high atop the fully accessible, zero-depth-entry leisure pool. Find the spot with the best splash or make friends with our playful river otters climbing the structure! There is also a 'Trout Spray.' Trout jump out of the edge of our zero-depth entry pool, sending water flying into the air in fun streams to splash and play. And last but not least, the 'Flower Garden', where our native Colorado flower is always in bloom, sprinkling water all around while it's petals bring a splash of color to the park. This garden doesn't need to be watered - it will water you!
575 Kattell Street, Erie, CO 80516
The new Kattell Street promenade will lead the community into the event space, with ample room for festivals and concerts. This new park layout also features a 2,500-square-foot community building with four restrooms, a café, and a community room. There will be plenty of shade at Coal Creek Park, with trees and two large shade shelters, with one adjacent to the playground featuring slides, swings, nature-themed climbers, and a rope structure.
The highlight of the playground is a custom-built butterfly structure, in memory of Maddie McDaniel, dubbing the playground, “Maddie’s Playground.” Maddie was only weeks old when she passed, and Erie Parks & Recreation worked closely with her family and their non-profit, Maddie’s Bows, to create a place to honor her memory and the memory of other children who left the world too early.
Finally, the splash pad rounds out the myriad of activities at Coal Creek Park, but the fun doesn’t stop once winter rolls in. In the winter, the splash pad will transform into the Town’s new ice rink location. The park will have ample parking, with an EV charging station, Wi-Fi, and a future connection to the Coal Creek Disc Golf Course to the east via a pedestrian bridge across Coal Creek Park.
