Friday, December 7 - Santa's Workshop and More
All activities except the Parade of Lights, sponsored by Meritage Homes and co-hosted by New Creation Church - Longmont, Colorado, will take place between 5-8pm Friday, December 7 (times vary) in Roosevelt Park, 700 Longs Peak Avenue. Returning favorites include the The Home DepotSanta’s Workshop (5-7:30pm) for younger kids at the Memorial Building, musical entertainment by David Coile and the Longmont Concert Band at the Longmont Senior Center, and in Roosevelt Park, hot cocoa carts sponsored by Longmont United Hospital, Longmont Meals On Wheels and New Creation Church - Longmont, Colorado, balloon glow, Village at the Peaks train rides, the annual fireworks show sponsored by Bank of Colorado(7:45pm), Tiny Town North Pole Village by Simblissity Tiny Homes, ice skating (regular admission fees apply) and more! Local food truck vendors will have menu items for purchase at the Longs Peak parking lot area next to the park.
Saturday, December 8 - Parade of Lights
New! Visit the Longmont Downtown Development Authority's Winter Wonderland from 3-5pm before the parade. Stop by St. Stephen's Plaza in Downtown Longmont (500 Main Street) for interactive activities, music, family fun and more!
At 5pm Saturday, enjoy the Jingle Bell Rock holiday parade on Main Street. Parade float applications are available online or at the Memorial Building, 700 Longs Peak Avenue, until Monday, November 26. All entries are eligible for prizes. The lights in Roosevelt Park, sponsored by title sponsor Xfinity, will be lit nightly beginning Thanksgiving weekend through early January 2019.
