Why Integrative Learning?

At Integral Steps we intentionally teach in this way. Our bodies remember these foundational pieces of music education and they become a part of who we are.
Music Together (ages 0-5) Every week in our Music Together/ Integral Steps classes children ages 0-5 (and the grownups who love them!) come together to play musically. Little ones love playing along in class, and caregivers love being a part of their children’s growth into confident music-makers. And everyone loves our songs that’ll have you tapping along in no time. Music Together is the perfect family activity!
Music in Motion (ages 3-6) Move, create, explore and learn music through this high-energy, exciting and fun class!! Music in Motion is a movement-based music curriculum introducing concepts like rhythm, melody, and harmony in a social and imaginative way. Students embody music joyfully through creative games, improvisation, and expression.
Piano Moves (ages 4-8) Piano Moves gives your average group piano lessons an integrative movement twist! Using familiar songs, fun dances and partner work, this small class provides your child the foundation for excellent music education. Learn rhythmic and tonal patterns, how to read music, and improvisation/composition skills.
Family Folk Song: Dance and Art from Around the World (ages 0-5) Explore rhythm, pitch, harmony, and cultural context through dance and art from around the world. Watch for registration opening soon!
Instrumental Academy private lessons (ages 3-16) Instruments include piano, flute, violin, guitar, ukulele, oboe, saxophone, English horn & clarinet
