Aerial acrobatics is a traditional circus discipline turned into an aerobic recreational activity that has taken flight over the past few years- pun intended. Aerialists learn to use their body strength, agility and flexibility to gracefully coordinate with different equipment, including trapeze bars, silks and lyra (metal hoops).
The Apollo Center, located conveniently off of Hwy 287 and the Denver Boulder Turnpike, is a 10,000 square foot, arts center offering classes for children ages 5 years to adult.
Their state of the art facility includes one main aerial studio, a smaller aerial studio with a trampoline deck, a dance studio and an aerial running wall.
