The City of Lafayette has officially proclaimed May 17, 2025, as Kids Day — a special event dedicated to promoting health, safety, and environmental awareness for children!

Kids Day has been celebrated across the country for the past 30 years, and we’re thrilled to bring it to Lafayette for the very first time, with hopes of making it an annual tradition.
This is a free, nonprofit event held in support of CO Feeding Kids.
Throughout the day, we’ll be sharing valuable information on health, child safety, and environmental awareness.
The Lafayette Fire Department, Police Department, and many other amazing organizations will be joining us — plus there will be a bounce house and tons of fun activities for the kids!
