Northern Colorado Fencers Summer Camps for Ages 7-13

NCF helps youth discover the fun and skill in the modern sport of fencing

February 7, 2025

Northern Colorado Fencers has been offering dynamic Summer Fencing Day Camps to boys and girls aged 7 to 13 for 30 years. No previous fencing experience is necessary to participate in the beginning camps.

Fencing summer camps at NCF will introduce your child to the core skills, strategies and rules of the modern sport of fencing.

Camps are safe and fun, and participants learn the basics of using a fencing weapon for offense and defense, the rules of the sport, how to conduct bouts and tournament play, and how to be gracious in victory and how to profit from defeat.

Led by experienced and certified coaches, with support from junior club members and returning college fencers, these camps provide tailored instruction to develop fundamental and advanced fencing skills.

Campers engage in interactive drills, games, and mini-tournaments to enhance coordination, focus, agility, and strategic thinking. The program also emphasizes fencing etiquette, history, and traditions, fostering a comprehensive appreciation for the sport.

All necessary equipment is provided, and safety is prioritized throughout the camp.

The cost for the week-long half day camps is $220 per week. Early registration discounts and sibling discounts available. Camp #1 cost is $175. Class size is limited to 12, so we encourage you to sign up early!

We provide the equipment and the know-how for a safe, fun and exciting experience in the sport of modern fencing. Campers are encouraged to wear clothing they can comfortably exercise in, and bring a water bottle and a snack.
