We had our first experience with the Skyhawks/SuperTots program this spring when my three year old son decided he wanted to try baseball "like we see at the park." I had seen Skyhawks & SuperTots programs for years in our town's community center guide and remembered that they had offerings for preschool-aged kiddos, so we decided to give it a try.
He. Loved. It.
My quick and energetic little man took no more than maybe 30 seconds of his first class to decide that this was for him.
His coaches were fun and taught the his BaseballTots program in age-appropriate and engaging ways, incorporating games, obstacle courses and lots of cheering them on. Plus, there were lots of other kids there that were all about his age- always a win! After a couple of classes I was already looking into what was being offered for the next season, and I knew I wanted to help spread the word of all of the fun that this program can bring.
Here's some great news: though our experience has only been for the younger crowd, the preschool-aged programs are just a drop in the bucket compared to what all they offer, which includes single-and multi-sport clinics and camps for beginners and beyond!

Sports, Science, Math and Technology collide with a partnership between Skyhawks Sports and STEM Sports.
Skyhawks-SuperTots Sports Colorado is excited to offer several STEM Sports camps this summer. We will give kids ages 11-14 an opportunity to enhance their knowledge of their favorite sport through skills, drills, practice games and STEM activities. Just a few of the great topics covered at camp are soccer ball design and angles, building catapults to discover velocity and acceleration for shooting a basketball, calculating contact time for volleyball, and throwing arm strength in flag football.
We can't wait to give kids in Colorado a reason to love both SPORTS and SCIENCE.
