We are all at a different threshold when it comes to comfort around people right now. Some of us are meeting in groups and large playdates again, while others are more comfortable having driveway hangs or virtual happy hours with our friends and cohorts. We're in this odd limbo of everything being the right choice and nothing being the right choice, simultaneously.
You know what? You do you, as long as you're respecting others' decisions as well.
One thing that I think we can all agree on is the feeling of inner delight that comes when something feels "normal" right now. For me, doing things in person again has felt almost euphoric!
Meeting another couple for dinner on Briggs Street this weekend? Sweet!
Taking your kids for some Sweet Cow? Yes!
Venturing out for some *gasp* actual live music? Right on!
A biggie with my crew is being able to visit museums again. We hit History Colorado last week (pictured) and had such a great time seeing so many things we'd missed. Did you know that our very own WOW! Museum in Lafayette is also back open? We're getting a family pass this week and will be so happy to be back at this local gem very soon.
Regardless of where you are on the scale of "doing the people thing" right now, I hope you're finding ways to enjoy your families. My events calendar is full of both in-person and virtual events, as we're very lucky to be surrounded by resources that are doing their best to provide both.
My best-
Shay
