WATER WORLD’S 23rd ANNUAL BELLY FLOP SPLASHDOWN
The Father’s Day Belly Flop Splashdown will be the talk of the town and the biggest flop of the summer for park visitors!
Forty-two Dads to put their hard-earned “dad bods” to good use and score CASH prizes for the effort at Hyland Hills Water World – the nation’s largest family water park featuring 50 attractions on 70 acres.
Now in its 23rd year, Belly Flop Splashdown contestants will take turns at their best stomach plunges off two different height levels into Water World’s Calypso Cove pool. Observers will be entertained with a myriad of creative belly flop techniques and OMG cover-your-eyes moments. Water World will provide cash prizes, and of course, 2019 Winner Certificates for year-long bragging rights. Participating fathers will receive free admission, women are welcome to participate as well. Registration is open at waterworldcolorado.com.

1 p.m. Father’s Day Flop Begins! with the Preliminary Round
2 p.m. Final Judging (5 finalists – 5 prizes)
The contest has one preliminary round with the top floppers advancing to the final round. Belly painting begins at 11 a.m.
WHERE: Water World is located west of I-25 at 88th Avenue and Pecos Street, in Federal Heights; 10 minutes from downtown Denver.
