My daughter and I had the opportunity to attend the traveling production of Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat  on Wednesday night at The Buell Theater. This show was especially exciting for us to see as my daughter had just performed in her High School theater's production of Joseph. This on stage version of Joseph was high energy from opening curtain to the re-imagined finale. The voice of Ace Young, who grew up in Boulder, was an excellent match for the part of Joseph.

One of our favorite parts of the show was the rendition of "These Cannon Days" by the Brother's of Joseph. The plate, fork, and knife rhythmic performance of the song brought a rousing response from the audience that ended long after the final note was sung.

Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat  is a perfect introduction to theater for children ages four and up. The fast paced action, bright colors, and catchy songs will keep the kids from squirming in their seats...unless they are dancing along! I would highly recommend taking the family to see this show before it leaves on Sunday!

I received tickets to the show for review purposes, but the opinions expressed are true and my own.
