Summer Bucket List

By By: Janie Duke, MK Publisher for Rancho Cucamonga June 21, 2012
I saw this idea on the side of a Chick-Fil-A Kid's Meal bag and thought it would be a fun way to remember to do everything the kids want to do this summer. The craft was for a bucket list, but we decided to make it a Summer Bucket List. Now it will be a family tradition each summer!
I went to the dollar store and bought everything we needed:

  • Small bucket
  • Clothes pins
  • Sharpie

Total cost was $3 plus tax!

Ask the children what they would like to do this summer and write each answer on a clothes pin.
Here are a few items we wrote down:

  • Beach Day
  • Picnic at the park
  • Roller skating
  • Bowling
  • Host a pool party
  • Go on a hike
  • Disneyland

Each time you do something listed on a clothes pin, you drop it in the bucket! Enjoy!
