The above video is my eldest daughter playing with her FyrFlyz.
When I first saw the FyrFlyz I thought, what a neat idea. You have two handles attached together with a thin rope. There is a plastic piece in the middle with lights on both ends. Is it intuitive as to how to play with FyrFlyz. The second I picked it up, I knew what to do. You hold on to the handles and move your hands in circles. When you stop your hands and pull the strings taunt, The center light up piece makes a variety of shapes. All 3 of my girls have tried out FyrFlyz and they all love it! My oldest daughter had to take hers with her to the movies to entertain her friends before the start of the show.
My youngest daughter loves the blue FyrFlyz because one of the lights changes colors. I love the fact that there is an on/off switch for the lights, so you don't have to worry about run down batteries. I also like that the website, www.fyrflyz.com, shows a variety of tricks that can be performed.
FyrFlyz is an excellent choice for stocking stuffers, birthday presents, and even just because. FlyFlyz are currently available at local Walgreen's stores. Get them before their gone!
